Education and Training
Dr. Kristina's and Dr. Ben’s journey to becoming orthodontists began with earning bachelor's degrees from The University of Indiana-Bloomington, and The University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana. They then completed four years of dental school to earn Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees. Dr. Kristina attended The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC), and Dr. Ben attended the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Following dental school, they pursued specialized training through residency programs in orthodontics, (Dr Kristina at USC and Dr. Ben at UIC) where they gained hands-on experience and expertise in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment. In addition to completing intensive residencies, they also completed novel research projects and earned Master’s degrees along with their specialty certification.
Continuing Education
Both Dr. Ben and Dr. Kristina regularly participate in continuing education courses and stay current with advancements in orthodontic technology and treatment techniques to provide the highest level of care to their patients. Dr. Kristina is active in local study clubs, including the Chiago Dental Society North Suburban Branch, and Dr. Ben maintains a part-time role at the UIC Department of Orthodontics.
